Google Wants to Bring Smart Features to Vehicle Infotainment Displays

It’s almost Christmas and it’s indeed the most wonderful time of the year. And since you are looking for the best gift to yourself, why not opt for a used car? Owning your own vehicle gives a lot of benefits, of course, convenience on top of the list. And why used car? Used car dealership is practical, but you have to be careful in choosing the best auto for you. Of course, if money is not an issue for you, you can always get yourself a new car. Now here is an exciting news from Google that will motivate you to get a car for Christmas.

Google is reportedly mounting a revitalized version of its Android Auto service that will come built into car dashboards. It is a fresh, exciting software that can bring smart features to vehicle infotainment displays without the need for a synced smartphone. This can make driving a lot more fun for you as you get the chance to enjoy all the benefits of the Internet without even plugging in your smartphone. Now this is a big thing that the majority cannot resist.

This is a big step up from Google's current Android Auto software, which comes with the newest version of its smartphone functioning system and involves a phone to be plugged into a well-matched car with a built-in screen to access streaming music, maps and other apps. We do not have to wait any longer because this ideal car is expected to arrive next year.

"It provides a much stronger foothold for Google to really be part of the vehicle rather than being an add-on," said Thilo Koslowski, vice president and Automotive Practice Leader of industry research firm Gartner.

However, there is a chance that automakers might be cautious of giving Google admission to in-car components that could increase security and liability concerns, and be unwilling to give Google such a prime spot in their vehicles.

Automakers want to keep their brand appeal and keep their differentiation," said Mark Boyadjis, an analyst with industry research firm IHS Automotive. "Automakers don't want to have a state of the industry where you get in any vehicle and it's just the same experience wherever you go."

For now, we can just wait for this to happen, but settling for a used car for sale in Bay Lake can actually be as exciting- with a great deal.

How to Save for the Car of Your Dreams

Everyone wants his own car. It is the freedom that one gets when he drives. Going places, meeting people, experiencing all the fun! However, not everybody can afford a car. Most cars for sale are tempting, but they are generally expensive. But do not lose hope. With proper attitude and the ability to save, you can drive your dream car really soon. Here is a step-by-step guide that will show you how to afford your own car as soon as you get your license so you can zoom off into the sunset in your brand new ride.

Step 1: Start saving early.

If you live somewhere where the legal age for driving is 18 and you are 14 years old now, start saving. Make it a habit to save and great things will certainly follow. You can start saving least half of all your money, especially when someone gives you cash as a gift, to have bigger chances to be able to buy a car once you are in legal age for owning and driving one.

Step 2: Compute your desired car payment.

If you think you do not have the power to pay in full, start by calculating how much you can afford to pay out each month. Be sure that you are able to leave some room for maintenance.

Step 3: Learn about your broad options.

You can opt for a brand new model or for used cars in Apopka. You have a lot of options. You just have to decide on the type of car you want. Since you want to save, choosing a used car may be ideal. Your dream car does not necessarily mean that such is a brand new model, right? You should also learn to weigh your options. There are different ways to pay for a car. You can take out the dealer’s own finance, get a loan from a bank or from a building society or decide for a personal credit plan.

Step 4: Saving should be mandatory.

Finding it difficult to meet a savings goal? Take out the guesswork and make it programmed. You do not have to debate with yourself for every single purchase that you make. You may also open up an online savings account, in case you do not have one yet. High interest rates are being offered so you can earn interest and your savings keep growing. Wonderful! Say “Hello” to your dream car really soon.
